In the early school years it is a wonderful time to begin exploring all the careers that are available. Most students at these ages do not really know what they want to do when they 'grow up,' but they do have ideas about what they like and do not like. Career day gives them the opportunity to ask questions and better understand the path they would like to take. This also puts in perspective that school is to prepare them for the future and make plans as such.
